Auto populate I-9 form
As part of ESS' new employee onboarding process, employees will now be asked questions about their employment eligibility, and the system will then populate the federal I-9 form with the selected information, which only needs to be signed by the employee.
In the onboarding invite page, you can set whether or not an employee must complete an I-9 form. The system is set up to collect I-9 forms based on the W2 status. In situations where the employee doesn't have to complete an I-9 form, you can uncheck the "Collect I-9" field, and the employee won't be required to complete the form.
Documentation proof will be stored in the system and attached to the work eligibility card in Workforce.
